Here I Come!!

MWC got a tricycle for her birthday last week and has been riding it around in the kitchen since it has been too cold to go outside. Everyday when RDC would get home from work, she would ask him, "Daddy, help me pedal." So that has been the routine in the kitchen for a few days!! Well this morning, she and her Daddy went to Chik-Fil-A for breakfast and then to Wal-mart for her helmet. She was so excited. (And of course she had to get a horn too!!) When they got home she got suited up to go ride in the garage. She is getting pretty good at pedaling--steering took a few minutes since she has not had much room to turn in the kitchen. But after just a few minutes we were ready to venture down the street. We have some good friends that live at the end of our street and she wanted to go and show them. So off we went. She did really good. Daddy had to push a little going up the hill, but for the most part she was on her own!!! When we got home, I think she was little worn out. She asked for a glass a water and wanted to sit on the couch and watch a movie!! But I can see many-a mile being put on this little bike!!!

Ready to ride!!!!!

She even makes helmets look cute!
And just think if you bought the house down the street then she could come ride to see KayKay and BeBe! (hint, hint)

This brings back memories of three little boys with their hot wheels blazin' in the garage....what a time that was! Of course those three little boys are wonderful young men now, but the joy of the memories lives on and on! Thanks for sharing your joy and reminding me of those sweet times.
Much love,
Aunt Barbara (I REALLY like that pink outfit....helmet, trike, and all!!! Girl stuff, huh?!)

vroom-vroom! Now she'll be sneaking out of the house for a ride on town. She may even come by and get the twins.
