So this morning....

...when MWC woke up, I brought her to my bed because I was just not quite ready to get up!! :) So she is there next to me and pulls her shirt up and says, "Look at Baby M move!! Wanna feel it??" I loved it!! Of course I obliged, giggling the whole time!!! --feeling and watching her breathe!!

As you can probably guess I am feeling the baby move a lot now!! The other night, it was strong enough for RDC to feel. He is quite excited!!! (He has been trying since I first felt him/her several weeks ago.) Anyway, since it is stronger and you can sometimes see my tummy move, we have been trying to get MWC to feel too. But since you can't predict when it happens it is hard to do. But we will keep trying--and maybe she will feel her baby brother/sister move just as she has felt her "baby" move. :)

Pink toenails.....

A few weeks ago, I had my toenails painted for a party RDC and I went to. Once MWC saw them she told me she wanted her "toenails pink like Mommy." She said it a couple of times that week. Then one night when RDC was getting her down from supper, she said, "Daddy, I want pink toenails like Mommy." He looked at me with this 'I am not sure my little baby is old enough for this' look. But he was fine with it, so we proceeded to paint her toenails pink!! And boy was she PROUD of those toes!!!!! She will show anyone who will take a minute to look!!! That night while she was in bed, we thought she asleep until about 9:45 we heard, "Daddy........". When he went in there she said, "I need to look at my toenails!" I think she is headed to be a very girly-girl!!! (Her daddy is in BIG trouble!!!!! :)

Baby "M" meets Baby Elmo

Since we are able to record our sonograms and watch them later, MWC loves to watch baby "M" after we watch Baby Elmo. She does not seem to understand that she IS Baby "M". Now she has her Baby "M" talk to Baby Elmo in my tummy. It is too cute to hear what she has to say to him/her. She will ask, "How are you? Fine?" And then sometimes proceed to tell him/her what she has been doing.

We think she will be a great big sister!! She loves to rock her babies and sing to them. It just makes us smile every time we hear her. We ask her if she would rather have a brother or a sister, and she responds brother sometimes and then sister at other times. I just know that we can't wait until the time comes!!!

Deep in the heart of Texas....

Last weekend RDC and Pop were able to go to the Nascar race in Fort Worth. We love to go because it gives us a chance to visit Grandaddy, Aunt EJW, and Aunt JAC. We were able to go to the zoo, a fair, and ride the train. MWC had a great time and was pretty tired when we got home. As usual, it was too short of a trip, but we can't wait for the holidays to spend more time with everyone and then plan another trip out there.

RA RA REE!!!!!

We had a great Halloween taking our little Bronco cheerleader to the fall festival at church. RDC's sweet cousin and her family live in Colorado and gave this outfit to her a while back. THANKS RICHARDS FAMILY!! She loved jumping up and down everywhere she went!! :) --since I was not a cheerleader, I could not remember a whole lot to teach her to say, so we stuck with RA RA REE!!!! Her favorite thing to do was the space jumps so we spent most of our time there. She did not really care much about playing the games and getting candy. (Much to mama and daddy's disappointment since now we don't have much candy in the house :( ) But she had fun and was quite tired from her jumping!!!!
We also had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and everything still looks great!! It was time for another sonogram--and no we stuck it out and still don't know if we are having a girl or a boy. I have to admit it was a little harder not finding out, but I like the surprise at the end. I am measuring more like 19 weeks instead of 18 and since 2 sonograms have shown a due date around March 26, my doctor moved the due date up a week. The heartbeat was 140 and the baby weighed 9 oz. MWC stared and grinned the whole time so I had a hard time deciding which to watch....her or the screen. Of course luckily we were able to get a video so RDC watched the sonogram later that day. (Looking more closely to see if we could tell!!) Anyway things are good, I am attaching some "belly shots taken a couple of weeks ago. Again, thanks for your thoughts and prayers as we continue on!!
