Isn't she lovely?!?!?!?!

For her birthday, MWC got a makeup kit from her friend AEH. Thank you, AEH!!!!! As you can tell she LOVES it!! She already likes to get into my makeup so she is quite thrilled to have her own. The other day she sat there for about 30 minutes while I cooked supper. KaKa was coming over for supper so she had to leave it on until Daddy and KaKa got home so she could show them. So we took a few pictures while we waited. She was soooooo proud of herself!!!!

Concentrating VERY hard!!!
She had a BLAST!!!!

Still don't know!!!

Well we survived another sonogram not finding out what we are having!! I have to admit I was really nervous but the tech was really good and staying away from the "booty area"!! (She mentioned she did not find out with hers so I knew she would understand and help us out!!) She did great!! The baby already weighs 6 lbs which is bigger than MWC was at birth (5lbs. 10 oz) So if we go on the calculations of gaining 1/2 lb week until delivery than this baby should be 8-8 1/2 lbs. Which MWC reached that at 8 weeks old!!!! :) So we shall see. We think this baby too will have my nose. It looks just like MWC's did in her sonograms. Hopefully this baby will resemble RDC some!!! Although some have told us she is beginning to look some what like him!!! The nursery is ALMOST ready!! Hopefully by the end of the day on Saturday it will be done. Pop and RDC are going to pick up our glider rocker in the morning!! Will post pictures when it is all done!! (And really then it won't be all done because we are going to have the babies initials put above the bed once he/she gets here!) But anyway all is well--just counting down the days!!!

And now some pics --since I can finally post them---from RDC's birthday!!!!

Trying to eat Daddy's cake--even though she has her own!!!

I did not realize we had the "timer" feature on our camera. (we have only had it for 3 years!!!) So we were able to get a family photo on his birthday!!!

A Perfect Day!!!!!!!!

For several weeks now, MWC and I have been asking RDC to take a day off and just play. Not a day when we have something to do --just a day for the 3 of us-just because. So as a surprise to us on HIS birthday--he took last Thursday off!!! I was so excited!!! He did not tell me until the actual morning of (about 6:30) so of course I had no time to make any real plans of what we could do. But of course I quickly got to thinking!!!! Since it was his birthday, I did have a couple of errands to run--like pick up his cake--so he just got to go with us. So after we woke MWC up and had a picnic in the den while we all watched Sesame Street, we got dressed to run our errands. We got his cake and then went to lunch--his pick--Backyard Burger. I wish I had my camera watching the two of them in the play area as they pushed the button to make animal noises and then pretended to be that animal!! Priceless!! Then we ran to Babies-R-Us and registered for a few things for the baby and then home for a nap!! Out for dinner--his pick--Logan's Roadhouse.--Stopped by Bebe's for a minute then home for cake to finish the day!!! It was such a great day not having lots to do--but just being together. I know MWC enjoyed having Daddy around all day "just because!!" I still just love watching them together. She really does have a special place in her heart for him. She went through a phase where she did not want to sing "happy birthday" to anybody at the right time--like when blowing out the candles. Her poor friends who have had parties--she would just stand there!! :) So I was quite surprised when she sang to her Daddy ALL DAY LONG--even at cake time!!! She sang probably 10 times to him that day!!! (You just never know with her!!)

***I do have several pictures from the day, but for some reason Blogger is not letting me add pictures or check my spelling!! So be patient for the pictures and over look any misspelled words!!!

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!!

Today of course is RDC's 34th birthday!!! MWC and I are extremely blessed to have him as a husband and a father. I thank God everyday that he chose RDC for me and for us to share our lives together. I could go on and on about how wonderful he is --but he surprised MWC and I this morning and took the day off so we are going to PLAY!!! But I did want to wish him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We love you!!! MWC and her daddy on his birthday 3 years ago!!!

The birthday boy and the luckiest girl in the world!!!!

According to the poll...

....most people think we will be adding a baby boy to our family!!! Well-- we found out today, unless Baby Elmo makes an appearance before--he/she will be here on March 24!!!!! I had a check-up today and he scheduled our section for then. MWC went with me today because she has been wanting to "hear Baby Elmo's heartbeat again." So she and RDC went along. When we told my doctor that is why she was there, he said, "how about we have another sonogram." So in 2 weeks we will get to see Baby Elmo one more time before his/her arrival!!! **And no we are still not going to find out. :) When we left the office, RDC looked at me and jokingly said, "I was tempted to make sure that the sonogram will be covered on insurance-and not just because our 3 year old wanted to see him/her!!" :) But we had one late with her, so I am sure there are other reasons!!! :) So we are on the countdown now!!! I say 47 days because it sounds shorter than 6 1/2 weeks, but RDC likes saying 6 1/2 weeks!! Please just keep us in your prayers as we continue to get ready. Specifically that Baby Elmo continues to grow strong and healthy, we get everything done, for MWC in her adjustments and that we well get plenty of rest between now and then.
