I know for most retailers, Christmas began back in October!! But for us we did our first "Christmas" activity. Saturday we took MWC to the local parade. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade a couple of weeks ago, but this was her first "big" parade.When we told her we were going her eyes lit up and she said, "I see Scooby-Doo, Hello Kitty".... and started naming all the floats she saw on TV. I was afraid she was going to be disappointed, but she was not. The animals and the candy were the biggest hit!!! The most excited she would get would be seeing horses or dogs walking along the parade. And of course she loved seeing Santa riding on the firetruck!! Overall she did enjoy the parade--and we enjoyed taking her to the first of MANY Christmas activites that are coming up!!!
The motorcycles and sirens were "LOUD"!!
Everything is better when eating a sucker!!!

Yes, Santa on the firetruck was a big hit for us too! But SS had to notice the smells associated with the horses!
Who knows maybe MWC can see Macy's parade live some day. Looks like she had a blast.

It is heart warming to see a young family who makes the most of their time together. MWC clearly demonstrates what a loving Christ-filled family can do.
