WHY?????

I knew at some point kids go through the "why?" phase....however, I thought it was closer to early 3's.---Soooooo I was thinking that is one phase we just skipped right over!!! WRONG!!!! MWC is in that phase right now and has hit it BIG!!!!! If have answered "why" once,,,,,,I have answered it 2o times over the last few days!!!!--This is how one conversation went last Thursday......

MWC: Where is Daddy?

Me: At work?

MWC: WHY?????

Me: Because it is Thursday.

MWC: WHY is it Thursday?????

And so on from there!!!! At least it is a phase and will be over soon and we can move onto something else!! :)

But I am sure y'all have been wondering WHERE we have been lately!! :) We have been super busy with lots of things to blog about----family visits, 4 month checkups, baby dedication, and a new blog for you to check out--and I am sure there are others and will remember once I upload some pictures. But for tonight I am going to bed and will be getting back into a routine tomorrow!!! GOOD NIGHT!!!

Our newest family member....

**well officially on May 2, 2009!!!
On Monday night WLG proposed to our KayKay!! We are all quite excited--well excited is an understatement--although I can't believe my baby sister is getting married and is going to be a wife!!! She will be a great one though!! He is really great for KayKay and they are both very happy and so very cute when they are together!!! (He was going to propose to her AFTER they went to dinner, but could not stand it and popped the question as soon as he walked in the door!!! :) So please put them in your prayers as they begin planning their wedding, but most importantly--their life together.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, RDC!!!!

On July 15th, 2000 I became the luckiest woman in the world!! I married the man of my dreams, my soul mate, and most importantly--the man God had planned for me to spend the rest of my life with. It was one of the best days of my life. And it just gets better and better. I have been told several times that I am spoiled by RDC and people are right. He spoils me, supports me, takes care of me and our children, works hard so I can be home with our children and most importantly loves me unconditionally especially when I am unlovable!!! There is absolutely no one I would rather raise our family with and share everything that goes with it. Happy Anniversary, Hansome!! The past 8 years have been wonderful and I can't wait for the next 80!!! :) I LOVE YOU, RDC!!!!

Roll over,,,,,,roll over

On Friday while JDC was on the floor--he rolled from his tummy to his back!!! Granted he was a little ticked off, but ended up on his back!! I thought he would only do it when he was mad, but Saturday while on the floor playing, he just did it on his own!! As happy as I am about this "milestone"--it does remind me how FAST he is growing up!!

Fish 10---RDC 0

A couple of Saturdays ago we went fisin'. MWC has been dying to go---and Pop and her daddy have been dying to take her!! It was not a very successful trip--RDC and a fish had a battle going on!! :)--The fish ate 10 of the crickets and we did not catch one single fish. It was very entertaining to watch RDC get SOOOO competitive with a fish!!! I think he would still be out there trying to catch it but we got rained out!! (And we are not THAT devoted of fishermen/women to fish in the rain!!) But we had a good time. MWC lasted a lot longer than I thought she would. She wanted to continuously cast it out and reel it back in. RDC told her at one point to, "count to 30 and then you can reel it in." Then we heard--1,2,30--can I reel now??" I think she likes to be in some kind of motion at all times!! But again, we did have fun and she is ready to go back and do some more fishin'!!

Of course it had to be a pink Princess fishing pole!!! *Thanks Pop and Granny!!!
