A little bit of what we have been doing..

It has been quite busy at our house lately. MWC finished up her last day of "school" last week-but still every Tuesday and Thursday she asks about going. She LOVED school this past year. It is so hard to believe that this time next year she will be getting ready to go to ACTUAL big school!!!! (Can't talk too much about it--sniff, sniff) She loved everything about it~~music, playground, being with her friends, arts and craft--all of it!! I am so glad that she had a great first experience!! We were also very lucky to have great teachers too!!!

We have also been enjoying a new game we like to call "Where is JDC??!?!?!" That boy is ALL over the place!! But really in truly we love it!!! People told me boys are different than girls and our daughter and son are living up to that statement! We have "baby proofed" our house MUCH more and JDC likes to explore a lot more than she did. He keeps us laughing and is really

showing his personality. MWC and JDC have started playing together some and that is soooo much fun to watch!! Especially when one of them does something to make the other one laugh and the do it over and over until both of them are just BELLY laughing!!! Some days being at home with 2 can be overwhelming--but I would not trade being here with them for ANYTHING in the world!! I find myself daily (well most days :) ) thanking God for being home with them and getting to see all of these things!!!**And most if the time, it is because He reveals something new to enjoy and not to take this time for granted or let time pass me by!!

So here are a few places we have found "our little explorer"!!

**These are just a few--but some of his favorites include the bathroom, his sister's room and the front window looking outside!! RDC's keeps asking me when we are going to get a bell to attach to him so we can at least hear where he is headed!!! :)

So last night RDC and I stayed up late watching a movie (and I am a girl who likes my sleep)and this morning we had to get up because RDC and JDC had haircut appointments. After we got home while JDC was napping and MWC was playing "Ms. Kathy" (pretending to be Ms. Kathy and cut and fix her Daddy's hair)I was taking advantage and laying on the couch watching TV. They were right in front of me, so I leaned over and told her, "I love watching you play!" And she turns to me without missing a beat and says, "I love watching you sit." :)

Gotta love her!!!!! :)

Wedding weekend....

I can't believe that a week has already passed since we had Will and Carley's wedding weekend!! (And some times I think it has been SOOOO Long since I have talked to my baby sister!!) But anyway...we started last weekend with a Bridesmaid dinner/Bachelorette dinner. It was so much fun just getting to know some of CWG's friends better!! And it was nice having a girls dinner while Daddy and Grandaddy wrangled the kids. I think at this dinner is when KayKay realize she is going to be the bride and center of attention all weekend...and she was gonna like that!! :) *Sorry no pictures from that--but wish I did--her sweet friends made her a FABULOUS "bride" necklace that was adorable!!

Then Friday it was the bridesmaid luncheon while RDC, Grandaddy, Pop, Uncle Bob (Grandaddy's brother), MWC and JDC all went to Chuck E Ch**se!! I have to say, as excited I was about the luncheon, I was a little jealous to be missing such a FUN lunch!!! RDC said, he is not sure who had more fun--MWC or Uncle Bob!!!! As someone told me at the luncheon, MWC was going to feel like a queen after so much attention!!!

Then rehearsal and rehearsal dinner that night. And of course the wedding was on Saturday!! It was beautiful!! KayKay was a stunning bride!! JDC almost made it through--but he was in a good mood and kept "talking". RDC gave him some snack to keep him quiet and his response was "MMMM!!" :) The ceremony was sweet and just "them". They laughed and cried and made it their own. I am sure she will have more to post and share when they return from their honeymoon.

Sunday we were able to visit some more with Aunt Barbara, Uncle Randy, and Uncle Bob before they left to go home. It was a great weekend!! The kids did great even though they were lacking in the sleep department. :) We could not have asked for better behaved children.

SOOOOO....

...the wedding was a HUGE success!!! I am not going to post pictures and go into much detail because I know Mrs. Garner will want to do that when she returns.  But I will say this...she looked BEAUTIFUL!!!  (Well I might post a few pics later..because she said it was ok...but later)---And I did talk to  her today and she said yesterday was THE BEST Day --and she did not want it to end!!!!  She loved every minute and the only thing she would change was that it would have lasted longer.  :)  I know some of you are wondering,,,,,why did she talked to her sister while she was on her honeymoon?!?!?! (We are close, but even I have some boundaries!! :)  Unfortunately the newlyweds are stuck in Atlanta tonight. :( Their plane out of here was delayed which made them miss their flight to Jamaica. :(  So they are hanging out in a hotel and should fly out in the morning.  So could you please say a special prayer for them?? That everything else would go smoothly and they would have a FABULOUS rest of the honeymoon???  She did say, "I am sure God has a silver lining in this.... I am just not seeing it right now."  :)  Thanks!! I know they would appreciate it!!!
