Daddy can make anything fun!!!

-----even bath time!!! MWC was about to take a bath tonight and she asked her daddy to take one with her. So being the great daddy he is, he went and put on his bathing suit and hopped in. They were laughing and playing and having a great time!! I went in to tell them "5 more minutes" and a huge look of disappointment came across HIS face!!! Oh well--a late bed time every now and then never hurt anyone!!!

Who knew?!?!?!?!!?

......that shaving cream, a toothbrush and food coloring could be so much fun??? I try to let MWC paint with different things every now and then, and I remembered from my degree that if you have shaving cream and tempera paint you can change the color of the shaving cream and make a picture. But who has powdered tempera paint laying around?!!?!? Soooo- I thought food coloring changes the color of things. So today we got it all out. She was not real crazy about it getting on her hands, but she got used to it. But I think she liked using the toothbrush!! So if you have any ideas of fun things we can paint with, please share--we love to try new things!!!!!

"Let's go FASS DADDY!!!!"...

is the phrase I get when we take spins around the backyard after I am finished cutting grass. One of the last times I cut the grass, she sat at the back window and waved at me every time I would swing by the window. She would have a BIG grin on her face and it warmed my heart to see that smile every time I passed by. Toward the end, I noticed that she was not in the window anymore and all of a sudden there her and Momma were. We asked if she wanted to ride and we got an"UUHH HUUH!!!!!" She sat in my lap and off we went. She loved it. I putted around one time to let her know what to expect and them ... that's right ... 5th Gear BABY!!!!!! Her hair started blowin and that smile started growin. She would laugh and wave every time we passed Momma. I think fun was had by all. It has now become the norm of her watching me from the window and then taking a spin after I finish the back yard. As you can see, a good time was had by all.

OUR FIRST BIG BO-BO!!!!

Yes--she does have a fractured arm and it is in a splint. :( She is more and more like me each day. (For those of you who don't know, I broke my arm when I was two also!!) If you ask her, she says, "I run, run, run in the grass, fell, got a bo-bo." And shows you her arm. She apparently hit it just right and now has a radial fracture. (Is that the right term Aunt JAC!?!?!?!?) So she now has to wear the splint for three weeks unless she is in the tub. Of course she has been a trooper and has only asked once or twice to take it off. And no--it has not slowed her down one bit!!!! She is still as busy as every!!! But I think we can survive it for 3 weeks!!!

KayKay is now officially an RN!!! She found out last night that she passed her boards!!! We are all so proud of her hard work and dedication. GOOD JOB KAYKAY!!!!
