...or "Memthis" as MWC called it! :) A couple of weeks ago, RDC and I decided to take the kids on a a quick trip to Memphis. We had always talked about taking them to the zoo and the Children's Museum up there--so we planned an impromptu trip. And we are SOOO very glad we did!! :) We had such a great time. The kids did great and we had enough time to do it all without feeling rushed. After RDC got off work on Thursday, we loaded up and headed out. We got up Friday morning and headed to the zoo!! :) The kids LOVED it! They have some new exhibits to see and the weather was great. It started getting cool right about the time we left. Here are just a FEW of the pictures we took while we were there.

What was especially neat was they had some exhibits and animals that our local zoo does not have. So we were able to see some different animals.

That night we were able to have dinner with some FABULOUS friends who have moved just south of Memphis. We had so much fun catching up and watching the kids play together. Thanks,

So glad you got to go! Looks like it was a little warmer that it was for us a year ago when we went with the kids! I am hoping we'll get up there next month with the church trip if soccer doesn't interfere!
