Sweet moments in our house today...

We had several "Kodak" sweet moments in our house today!!!

She wanted to give him a bottle, "all by herself."

3 months old!!

...ok--3 months and 1 day as of today!!! (but you get the idea!!!) :) Well JDC is growing everyday! Not exactly sure how much he weighs--but he still loves to eat!! :) I remember MWC had days where she would just not eat as much. Not JDC--the boy doesn't miss a meal! He is pretty much sleeping through the night. I feed him around 9 and he is down until 4 or 5 depending on how tired he is from keeping up with MWC's schedule. My mom told me my sister, CVW, pretty much took her naps in the van because of what EJW and I were doing and JDC is pretty much following in those footsteps!! He is beginning to laugh and of course we LOVE that sound!! The only thing better is hearing he and MWC laugh together. It is a lot of fun. He has rolled over from his stomach to his back...but maybe only because he was in his bed and was ticked off about me not getting him fast enough. --but whatever the reason he did it and only a few times...nothing consistent yet. But he absolutely ADORES his sister. She can get him to smile in no time flat!! She walks in the room and says something and he is breaking his neck to find her. TOO SWEET to watch this happen. Of course we are adjusting to life with 2 but we are getting the hang of it.

The week after we got back from vacation, MWC went to a ballet camp at a local studio. She seemed to really enjoy it and learned a few ballet moves. The theme of the week was princesses--so she loved it!! I loved it because they learned a dance to a kids praise song and learned a Bible verse. Of course when it came to the recital, she performed some, but mostly at home when she is just playing around, I will hear her singing and doing her motions.

Yea....I know I am cute!!!!!

I know...I have been slackin' in the blogging. But we have been quite busy and I pulled a muscle in my back and I can't sit at the computer too long. But I am on the mend and so I will hopefully have time soon. Because we have LOTS to blog about.....ballet camp, swimming lessons, Father's day---the list goes on!!! So hang in there a little longer!!!! :)

Vacation, vacation, vacation.....

That is pretty much what we did last week. Our days were as followed (then I will elaborate on each day more) we flew to Fort Worth on Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday stayed and played at The Great Wolf Lodge. VERY FUN!! (Take time to check out the website!!) Then Thursday we drove to San Antonio and spent Friday at Sea World. Then Saturday drove back to Great Wolf and played there and then flew home Sunday afternoon. It was a VERY busy few days, but we loved it and had a great time!! MWC and JDC did wonderful on the plane rides!!! JDC actually smiled and laughed during take off!! **We may have a future pilot on our hands!!! In fact on our 2nd leg on the way out there on Tuesday, a little boy was boarding by himself and got to walk down the terminal alone. Well MWC thought that was pretty cool!! She looked at Kay-Kay and said, "I wanna go by myself!!" I am sure Grandaddy pictured many trips for her in the future if she is not afraid of flying alone!! :) MWC loved Great Wolf --as did the adults on the trip. :) It was so nice and a FABULOUS idea---whoever came up with an indoor water park associated with a hotel. MWC was not afraid of ANY of it!! She loved going down the slides--all by herself!! The first time she was going down the bigger slides, RDC figured he would go to and ride with her. Unfortunately there was no "lap riding" on these slides. So as I walk up to watch them come down, I see my little "baby" coming down it alone!!!! I keep looking for RDC --thinking she just slipped out of his lap!! NOPE!!! She came down all alone!!! And her response---"let's do that again!!" If she did it once--she did it a million times while we were there!!!

Even JDC got his feet wet!!!

Then it was off to Sea World!! We went and saw the Shamu show, and MWC was mesmerized!!--So were all of us. It was a great show!! There were also some rides that we were able to enjoy. But ironically one of her favorite things to do was,"climb the rope."--Which she could do at home at a local park!! But we all had fun being there and experiencing things like seeing some penguins and seeing Shamu up close.

After Sea World we headed back to Great Wolf for another sliding session!!! And while we were there, we were able to have dinner with Aunt JAC, soon to be Uncle Bug, Pop and Granny (who were there visiting JAC). *Thanks for coming over to visit us!!

We flew home on Sunday with a VERY tired little girl!!

Back from "bacation"

Well we have arrived from our vacation with Grandaddy, EJW, and KayKay that was a Christmas present this last year. We all had a GREAT time, but are all worn out!!! MWC fell asleep on the plane from Dallas to Houston and was asleep by 8:30!! (She has not been asleep that early in a loooooong time!! But I will post more about it and of course pictures soon. But for now I am winding down and going to bed myself!!!!

**If you can't seem to get some sleep--just come to our house and sit in our blue chair. :) Apparently no one can keep their eyes open if they sit there!!!!!
