A couple of firsts....

Last month MWC started pre-school at the same place she went to last year. This year though she is going 3 days instead of two. She seems to enjoy it and is really tired by bedtime!! I think she is getting adjusted because now she is pretty much up everyday no later than 8:15--which is early for our "sleeping beauty". Her teacher is new to the school and we LOVE her. She is soooo sweet and you can really tell she loves what she does. I can't believe that next year my baby will be going 5 days a week until about 2:30!!! I am REALLY going to miss having her around all the time.

This year she also started playing soccer. She is so excited each time we go to practice. The first one was cancelled to do rain, then we were out town, and then her coach got sick--but then it was just delayed. (I think she thought she was NEVER going to get to practice!!) But we finally made it and she has enjoyed it. Her first game is this Saturday so we shall see how the game goes being somewhat structured. I CAN'T wait to see it!!!

And please notice the pink socks, the pink ball and her shoes are even pinked striped!!!

She is pretty good about running and kicking the ball.

Wordless Wednesday

A MWC story...

The other morning while we were packing for our trip, MWC was watching Dor@ on the TV. We heard Dor@ ask her friend Boots on the show if he wanted to meet her cousin Diego. Of course in true TV fashion, Boots replied with Yes. So then Dor@ turns to her "audience" and asked if they wanted to meet him. MWC (as if she was talking to someone in the room) replied, "Nah, I have already met him." :) That just cracked us up!! I guess she feels like she "knows" Diego since she watches him too!!!

Wordless Wednesday

What would you like to order??

About a year ago Grandaddy gave MWC a little note pad and pen out of his work stuff and she started walking around saying, "What would you like to order?" And to this day she still does it a couple of times a week. Well, last week BeBe (thanks Bebe!!) was shopping and found this CUTE waitress outfit. (She wanted to wait and let it be a Christmas present--but I couldn't!!) The whole set is complete with the dress, headband, apron, order pad, menu, tiny ketchup and mustard bottles, money, a play hot dog and piece of pizza, and a "my name is tag"!! SHE LOVES IT!! She has taken someones "order" at least once a day. Now granted the only thing she will let you order is a hot dog or pizza~~ And most of the time she asks if you want ketchup or mustard on your pizza!! But she is really enjoying her new "outfit"!! So now RDC and I are going to be looking out for other accessories to go on the menu!! :)
